Hi, I’m Candice, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and founder of Greenvine Psychiatry & Wellness. My approach to psychiatry was shaped long before I entered this field. Years in high-acuity medicine, including cardiac care, post-surgical recovery, and critical stabilization, taught me that the mind and body do not operate as separate systems. When they are treated that way, important pieces get missed.

I built my practice around a more complete way of evaluating mental health. Every patient receives a comprehensive assessment that goes beyond a symptom checklist. I look closely at the full clinical picture, including emotional patterns, sleep, stress physiology, medical history, trauma, family history, and the biological factors that can quietly affect treatment response. When appropriate, I order labs to identify issues that are often overlooked, such as thyroid dysfunction, nutrient deficiencies, or methylation-related factors that may interfere with recovery.

I am direct, thoughtful, and honest with my patients. I believe clarity is part of good care. Whether I am identifying an OCD pattern, recognizing a substance use issue that has been minimized, or helping someone understand what it means to live in a prolonged state of survival, I believe patients do better when they are treated with both candor and respect.

I specialize in anxiety disorders, OCD, treatment-resistant depression, trauma-related conditions, insomnia, and substance use. I am especially comfortable working with complex presentations, including patients who have seen multiple providers, tried multiple medications, and still feel that something important has been missed. In many of those cases, the problem is not a lack of effort. It is that the evaluation was never thorough enough to begin with.

Hi, I’m Candice.

In-person therapy restores human connection. Seeing someone face-to-face lets therapists notice tone, posture, and tiny expressions and respond right away. That immediate presence creates safety, builds trust, and allows practical, grounded techniques like reflecting, shared quiet, and holding space. Change comes from feelings as well as words: repairing relationships, trying new behaviors, and bringing safety into everyday life. Choose in-person therapy for direct presence, accurate care, and a stronger therapeutic bond.
